ATLAS Group will build a mining and processing combine

ATLAS Group and Fleming Family Partners signed an agreement for the development of titanomagnetite-apatite rocks and the construction of a mining and processing combine in Nyazepetrovsk district of Chelyabinsk region.
The titanomagnetite-apatite deposits of Suroyamskoe is a green field. At the moment an additional follow-up exploration has not finished yet. According to a forward estimate, the resources of the site exceed 2.2 billion tons of titanomagnetite ore and 4.2 million tons of apatite-titanomagnetite ore. The main advantage of the deposit is its shallow, making it cheaper and easier to mine. In addition, aside from14.4% iron, rocks contain a large amount of phosphorus, copper, palladium, platinum, titanium dioxide and vanadium pentoxide, which also increase the profitability of the site compared to mono deposits.
Market analysts believe that once Nyazepetrovsk's project is successful, it can be a serious competitor of Kachkanarsky plant. In turn, the governor of the Chelyabinsk Region expressed confidence that the investment in the development of Suroyamskoye can put a twist on the region.
