Apple's new office building , which is scheduled to open in 2015, will exceed the size of the Pentagon, which is by far the largest office center in the world. According to journalists of Mac Observer, the diameter of the future building will be about 492 meters - more than the height of the largest New York's skyscraper Empire State Building (443,2 m) and 5 meters longer than the diameter of the circle which the Pentagon is inscribed in.

The building, whose construction will begin next year in the Californian city of Cupertino, will hold 12 000 employees. The total area is 260,000 square meters. Except office spaces, the building will contain research facilities, a fitness center and a conference hall for a thousand places.

At the moment, the project is getting environmental inspection; experts will examine the possible impact of a future giant on a provincial traffic.
